Although I masquerade as a government official by day, my inner world is always filled with stories untold, voices unheard, and emotions that may have never been felt or addressed.

Most people are exposed only to the narratives that appeal to the masses. However, I keep searching for the whispers – those inaudible voices that are often lost beneath the relentless cacophony of a hectic world that has neither the time nor the inclination to listen to them.

Right from childhood, it has been stories that have played a pivotal role in shaping my thoughts, moulding who I am, and influencing how I see the world. I learnt very early in life that it is not just the creation, but the very art of storytelling, that has the power to breathe life into ideas, stir emotions across generations while transcending and bridging cultures and communities.

Observing my father, the late Nirode Choudhury, weave magic out of his pen and allowing words to create and transform his readers to places beyond imagination had always been an inspiration creating a world where "Stories" and "Storytelling" became my focus points, determining who I am.

It is this deep-rooted influence that has helped me observe life in its minutest of details, creating an eternal flow of characters, and plots that invariably seep into my stories and writings.
